My thought-provoking trek on the road to good health

Every journey needs a guide to help travelers prepare for unexpected turns in the trail, to keep them on track and to add interest along the way. In my journey on the road to good health, I'm thrilled to claim Roberta Duyff as my "Sherpa."

Her new book serves as a roadmap, with daily intuitive mile markers that enable travelers to chart their own course and set their own comfortable pace of travel.

My book journey began by taking a day-by-day hike through the first two weeks of January. After getting a feel for the lay of the land, I decided to get my heart rate up by jumping ahead to check out practical tips and exciting recipes corresponding to my family members' birthdays and other special dates. The experience quickly became as compelling as a parlor game, as each tip, anecdote or recipe led me to another season, occasion or personal area of interest.

Throughout the thought-provoking trek, I marveled at the changing seasonal landscape and panorama of practical prose born out of the author's globetrotting culinary adventures and rich cultural perspectives. It didn't take me long to start collecting souvenirs from my guided tour that I intend to turn into lasting healthy lifestyle changes. I highly recommend you start the New Year with this guide at your side...isn't it time you began your quest for the best of health?

Depending on your likes and dislikes, there are many helpful points. It is good
background if you want to try a different approach to cutting back on meals,
and they are very encouraging in their recipes. I liked the book because of
the variety of meals. Yes, of course, there is always repetition, but that
depends on your tastes.
Everything is canned.

All of the first few recipes I looked at involved opening cans. Fresh products are more healthy. While the book is concerned about sugar, it ignores other things, notably sodium. I tossed it.
You sent me the wrong book. I did not receive this

I had no way to contact you. You send me Mark Twain. Puddin book instead of the above book. As you do not have a customer service # I could not contact you. Because of this I will probably not purchase anything else from Amazon. Very frustrating.
